Bad Night at Frisch's and Educating

Had a bad night tonight at Frisch's. I screwed up all the time. I didn't get a lady's salad out to her because I was helping get another order, people waited too long, I put a desert on the wrong ticket, I thought a guy said, "onion rings" instead of an "onion." I kept screwing up a guy's ticket. I was complained about three times.

My manager and I had a talk and I told her I should be educating and that's all I wanted to do but couldn't.

I'm going to break out in prayer, here. "Please Lord, make this right. Make this right. Let me get a job in a school and get this project done. Please Lord, let it be more than me that sees the worth in me and this project. Let this all get done. Let Oprah walk in and tell me that this is over and I'm going to have the project turned into a reality."

I hope she comes into the restaurant and lets me know this is going to be all made right.

If I had $10,000 for every school I have interviewed with, it would all be made right. It would all be made right. Now, Ms. Winfery doesn't have to give me that---all I need to hear is that this story, this life I have lived and mother lived is going to be made so the world can see.

The people I work with at Frisch's are good people. One girl lives in the house my mother lived in when she first came to Franklin and in the 70's. That house or one that is made to look like it is going to be in the movie.

The song by Life House, "You and Me," is going to be in movie, too---when Josh and Leslie are sitting in the lab room together, talking, looking at each other.

I've thought about this a long time.
