A child miseducated

I don't quite understand the setup of this Blogger.com. Sometimes it gives you little pencil icon to edit and then sometimes it doesn't.

This is something I haven't mentioned yet, but I will now. Bobby Kennedy said, "A child mis-educated is a child lost," and I thoroughly believe that and have experienced seeing that.

I was substituting somewhere where kids were in a spec. ed room all day with no reason to be there all day. They didn't have a problem with math but they were in there for math. They had some reading problems, but they had no reason to be in that room for math and kept from their regular class. I stayed there for about a month and that was all I could take. I had a little boy crying at my knees, saying, "I don't want to be here. I want to be with my regular class."

I never want to be in that situation again. As Bobby Kennedy said, "A child miseducated is a child lost." That is so true and it happens.
