Perseverence

I guess other people would have thought along the way, "This education thing isn't working and I'm going to do something else with my life." Other people, I KNOW, would have thought, "This isn't working. I have to do something else," but I kept going back for more. I kept going back for more.

I kept on. In interviews, I've been asked, "What is one of your strengths," and I always say, "Perseverence." I thought if I persevered, I would get a job in education and I would stay there.

I did have a great job for 3 years. I was in a great place and with great people, and I thought that after those three years in one place, I could get another job. It's somewhat of a challenge, too, to have a special education position, in a place that really understands special education and inclusion. Schools don't really understand it, for some part. It's somewhat of a challenge to get in a good school.

Now, some people might say, "It's just July. There's still hope of getting a job in a school." I've heard that before, and when I did get my good job in a good place, Piqua Jr. High, it was a couple days before school started in August. But, for some reason, I don't feel that is going to happen. I have this gut feeling that's not going to happen. I have felt God saying it's not in my plan for you. You have something even bigger and better to do than education.

I had another dream if I could have gotten a network marketing business going---if I made enough per month, I was going to help people in foreclosure. I was going to help pay off their mortgages, if I could ever attain the $50,000 or more per month that some people make with it.

I would love to help people. I would love, for the rest of my life, to help people after my book and movie project is complete. That's how I'd love to live--Maybe help out the Home Makover people, financially. I know---that is a humungous dream.
