Tonight at Frisch's and Rick Springfield

Well, I think the girl that I talked about the other night is wanting to become manager someday. I think that is starting to be a goal of hers. I will call her Miss 12th grade. She's kind of bossy and thinks she knows it all and then asks me a question. She likes to try to tell me what to do.
I try to talk all the time about my movie to her.

I think, while I'm there about this project---tonight I thought about Matthew Perry taking me out. Thought about how we'd go to Cox Arberetum or someplace and somewhere for dinner and then go to Frisch's for hot fudge cake. I also thought about how he might not eat sugar. I also thought about how someone is probably wondering why I'd have him come here--somewhere near Dayton, OH--but I'm thinking I'll have a job and a quick trip to LA wouldn't be really feasible.

He also needs to see where my mom and I lived/live, although my uncle has only been here enough to count on one or two hands. My uncle lives in Tennessee.

I ask the "kids" if they know who Rick Springfield is--Miss 12th grade doesn't know but a couple others do. This kid, who just graduated and mom is a doctor, said, "Jessie's Girl?" and I said, "Yes."

Gonna see Rick tomorrow---"Jessie is a friend. You know he's been a good friend of mine. But something's changed....Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine."

I'm going to take my Alanis CD out and put Rick's in--I had been listening to Rick back at that time of "josh" and when "josh" started to play guitar (it's in the book and will be in the movie), I asked him if he could play Rick or "Jessie's Girl" and he said he didn't know it. I guess I asked him if he could play "Jessie's Girl." Couldn't believe he didn't know a Rick song.

I can't wait till tomorrow night--but then it will be over.

I hope someone, somewhere will talk to "josh" sometime about me and everything--oh, but, he's married--well, I don't want him anyway, now. Doesn't matter. Someone should talk to him.

Wonder if he plays Rick now. Probably not.

"I've done everything for you. You've done nothing for me." Love Rick Springfield. "I've done everything for you. You've done nothing for me. And I'm going out on the town tonight and get as wild as I can be...I don't care what the people say..." LOVE IT. LOVE it. Ah!

Jeff Stevens from Mix 107.7 has a band and will be playing before Rick. Love Jeff.

My aunt admonishes me for mentioning "josh." She says, "There you go. Thinking about him again." I don't care. She liked "It's my Party and I'll cry if I want to." This is all my party and I'll cry if I want to whenever I want to.

I'm waiting to be taken out though---shown a great time. I'm waiting. I've waited a LONG TIME.

Has anyone heard Rick's new song? It's really cool. I'm glad I'm not going to let this concert pass by.

Yeah, thought about going out with Matthew Perry while doing the yuck work tonight. There are people working there that work there because it is all they do and probably ever will do and there are people that work there because they are working on something else but I don't know what my end outcome is---I don't want to work there the rest of my life and I don't want to go back to school for anything. I'm two classes away from a Masters degree and I don't know that I care about getting that Masters degree. What for?

I loved "Josh."

I loved "Josh."

I loved him.

If I ever loved anyone, I loved him.

46 people have checked my profile here--I know the last time I checked it was at 36.

The only way I'd ever be with "josh" is that if he didn't have kids and would say he never loved the woman he's married to, and that's not going to be. So, it will never happen. I contacted a few pyschics over the years and they all said, point blank, "you'll never be with him."

Whoever gave me the day off tomorrow should be blessed. The person I thought gave me the day off said she didn't.

"We all need the human touch. I need it. The human touch. We all need the human touch."

I'm going to have to listen to this CD a couple times tonight.

I'm having 2nd thoughts about taking Matthew Perry to Frisch's.

"I can see the path your cutting...You better love somebody. It's late. You better love somebody. It's late." I'm "bopping" till I drop. "Bop till you Drop" is a Rick song.

I talked to my uncle a few minutes ago and told him about my movie dream, and that Matthew Perry was going to play him. He didn't say it couldn't happen.

In fact, whoever gave me the day off tomorrow should get a raise.

I wish it was the 80's again--I'd do so many things different now. For starters, I would have started working at Frisch's in 1998.

Not sure if those 47 people who viewed my profile read any of this.

Well, later,

Cindy
