Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in biology (and sub-disciplines), (bio) chemistry, toxicology, environmental sciences, or related fields. Strong technical and data evaluation skills, and 0-5 years of experience. Familiarity with basic concepts in human health or ecological hazard and risk assessments of chemicals and products. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Desirable additional qualifications include: Graduate degree (Master's, Industrial Hygienist) Strong working experience in regulatory compliance related to commodity chemicals and chemical products in multiple trade sectors. Familiarity with international regulations pertaining to general and specialty chemicals and chemical products (e.g., REACH, GHS, TSCA, Dangerous Substances/Preparations Directives; Canadian WHMIS). Experience in HSE business development with multi-national corporations, including proposal development Project management experience leading collaborative teams of life scientists and regulatory specialists Experience in managing others
